It was during the first week of May (2022). And these were among the first wildflowers we found sprouting up from the forest floor. They grew up-side-down. It was only by turning it, and using my fingers as a type of canvas, that I was able to display for you how it looks from the other side. To me, it resembles a lily.
I found it lovely in its miniature state, standing only about 3-4 inches in height. Against a backdrop of dried leaves, even their pale shades were beautiful. God had designed these little blossoms perfectly—in hue, in symmetry. And He had placed them as specimens to announce Spring’s arrival .
So what do they, have to do with you? Perhaps you feel like no one takes notice of you? Perhaps God’s given you a dream, and you pray that someone will take the time to release it? Maybe you feel like you are bowing to God’s Will, and you’re waiting for Him to reveal the hidden beauty (or handsomeness) that He’s been creating?
There is hope, dear one! Keep trusting the One Who can form such wonders as these. Keep persevering wherever He has you. For if He’s willing to place little lilies on the forest floor—where only those who seek, will find them—just think what He’ll show you, if you keep walking with Him day by day.
It was only by hiking on a narrow pathway, that we found this miracle. Keep obeying. Keep listening. Keep growing. Dig your roots into His Word. Then, watch how He uses whatever is bowed in your life—to be turned, upright—for His kingdom!
“I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.” Psalm 117:7 NIV
