Immeasurable

God’s love is as measureless,

As the ocean’s width, breadth and depth.

It reaches as far,

As the East is from the West.

It knows no boundary,

Like the wide open spaces,

Of the Western states.

It travels across every continent,

The universe, the globe,

And into every galaxy, and beyond.

It’s as enduring as He is,

From beginning to end,

And from everlasting to everlasting.

It’s as all-encompassing,

As the velvet onyx sky,

Filled with starry hosts.

God’s love reaches out to us, (mankind),

No matter where we live,

Work or play.

It is invisible,

Yet visibly,

Felt, seen, and experienced.

His love transcends all time and space. It was demonstrated at Calvary where He physically took our place. But His love indwells the heart and soul—internally, eternally—that is surrendered. His Spirit teaches us to live, sacrificially, according to His Will, and by faith. This love, has been a witness and a testimony that has been passed down through every generation from the time that He was born as a babe. And He died and rose from the grave, to rule and reign, always.

God’s love is present in every heartbeat, every blooming, growing thing, bird, animal, creature and creation that He has made. He’s imprinted His love upon the dewdrop, within the nutrient of rain and snow, within the river’s flow, the thunder’s echo, the mountain’s peak and the shadowy valley.

It will never die. It will never be extinguished. It will never be drowned out. It will never fade or rust or decay. It will never perish. It will forever be, as He is—pure, perfect, holy, righteous, grace-filled.

And from it, flows abundant fruits from the Spirit: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. (Galatians 5:22-23) These are the attributes of Jesus’ life. They are the marks of His love, in us.
