God my Savior—“My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me—holy is his name.” Luke 1:46-49 NIV

“The Lord is my strength and my song. He is my Savior. This is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will honor him.” Exodus 15:2 GW

Dear Lord, this title “God my Savior” speaks softly and loudly to my heart this Christmas season. Like Mary, my soul exalts You. I’m always humbled to realize that You’re mindful of my slightest need, desire, joy, sorrow, or longing. How I long to be Your servant, a useable vessel. Daily I recount the ways that You’re displaying Your faithfulness to me. I feel blessed to read Your Word and hear Your voice. You are my strength, the One I turn to for counsel, comfort, wisdom, and guidance. You are my God, my King, and my Savior. I bless Your holy name and pray that my life gives You glory today and as a legacy of faith. May every card I send, every gift I give, and everything I share or do ... be filled with Your love so that my love for You shines through. Amen.

If God is our Savior—we will want to know and love Him personally—so that His Spirit is constantly filling us so we have love flowing through us to be shared.
