Happy 13th Birthday, Tiger Lily

Some will say it’s silly,

To celebrate,

The birthday … of a cat.

Now, I say, “I understand,

Oh, but let’s think about, that.”

Into every life,

There will come,

Some joy and some pain.

There will be some things,

We just don’t understand.

There will be trials,

And moments of triumph,

Even confusing times,

Simply to name, a few …

So when we have a chance,

To celebrate,

I look at them, from God’s view.

Each day of life, is a gift,

From His hand.

So let us worship,

No matter what He has planned.

Then we will honor,

Our truest Friend.
