Mission Statement

Our mission is to share the love of Jesus through His Word, nature, and creativity. We believe God’s beauty is all around us if we pause to see it and give Him honor and praise. Our mission is based on the Scriptures below:

(Psalm 46:10) Deborah commits to have a daily time of Bible study, meditation, Scripture memory, and prayer. She believes that the discipline of “being still” with her Abba Daddy is how we learn to know Him and His Will. She uses this time to learn and grow in her own walk with God and prays for her friends, family, our nation, and her readers.

(John 3:16) We believe that Jesus literally died on the Cross of Calvary for all of mankind and rose again on the third day, but each person must come to Him individually by trusting upon His name. God’s gift of grace assures us an eternal place as His child and in His presence.

(2 Timothy 3:16) We believe that all of the Bible is inspired by God. Deborah's photography, prose, poems, and prayers are woven around Scripture to honor the Lord and draw her readers into a relationship with the One true God.

(Romans 1:20) We believe that creation is one of God’s most profound methods of communicating His lovingkindness, through the earth, to the soul of mankind. From sunrise to sunset, all that He has made declares Him to be King of Kings—softly and loudly. Everything He has fashioned displays His love for mankind, so we are drawn to love Him and others.

(Mark 12:30-31) Deb believes that loving God and others, which is the example that Jesus set for us, should be the goal of every Christ-follower. This does not mean that she is perfect, but that she strives to walk with God and live out this truth with a servant-heart attitude.

(Philippians 4:4-8) As we were forming our Mission Statement, a friend made this comment (in essence): If she had to choose a passage of Scripture that best describes Deborah's writing and photography, it would be these verses. Deb recites this passage often and believes in rejoicing, taking all things to the Lord, and thinking on the things which are right, true, holy, pure and just--for indeed--these are praise-worthy and bring us peace.

(1 Chronicles 16:23-25 & 27-29) Deborah wishes for her life, marriage, photography, and writing—to all bring God glory. She believes that He alone is the Creator of the Universe and all things. And that one day, every knee will bow before Him (Philippians 2:10) . Worshiping God is her lifestyle, work, and play.
